Instructions: 

  1. Start with fresh lemon juice in a pitcher.
  2. Combine blueberries, basil leaves, and granulated sugar in a pitcher with lemon juice; muddle.
  3. Add water; let stand 30 minutes.
  4. Press through a fine sieve into a medium bowl; discard solids.
  5. Return mixture to pitcher, and serve over ice.
